Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our patient care team. The CNA provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs clerical and related duties to support department operations.

You will assist with activities of daily living, collect patient data and specimens, transport patients, and help with diagnostic prep while maintaining quality patient care and collaboration with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA license issued by the Commonwealth of VA required.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.
• CPI within 90 days of hire for Snowden at Fredericksburg CNAs.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living and routine tasks.
• Collects patient data and specimens and records vital signs.
• Transports patients and assists with diagnostic tests.
• Performs basic care procedures and maintains equipment.
