Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our patient care team. The CNA provides direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse and performs clerical and related duties to support department operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA license issued by the Commonwealth of VA required.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.
• CPI within 90 days of hire for Snowden at Fredericksburg.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Documents patient data and coordinates with the care team.
• Assists with feeding, hygiene, and comfort.
• Collects specimens and records vital signs.
• Transports patients and preps for tests.
• Responds to nurse calls and assists in emergencies.
