Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Bowie, MD is seeking a compassionate CNA/Direct Care Giver to provide quality daily living assistance to residents. You will help with activities, mobility, and meaningful engagement while maintaining resident dignity and safety.

Requirements include a current CNA license and the ability to communicate clearly. You will document care, respond to emergencies, and work with the nursing team on a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license in the state of the community and be in good standing with the Board.
• Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Encourage participation in community activities and meaningful experiences.
• Document resident status and care interventions in logs and records.
• Respond promptly to calls and emergencies and maintain confidentiality.
• Support move-in transitions and coordinate with nursing staff as needed.
