Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Waldorf, Maryland is seeking a compassionate CNA/Direct Care Giver to support residents with daily living activities and encourage independence. You will lead engaging activities, assist with mobility, meals, and personal care, while upholding confidentiality and company policies.

You will document care, report incidents, and participate in team nursing rounds. A current CNA license and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license in the state of employment.
• Effective verbal and written communication required.
• Organized and able to work with all levels of personnel.
• Flexible to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• CPR/First Aid certified, or willingness to become certified within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence.
• Encourage participation in community activities and programs.
• Document care, monitor health status, and report concerns to the caregiving team.
• Perform housekeeping tasks and assist with meals and dining activities.
• Assist residents with move-in transitions and emotional support as needed.
• Comply with confidentiality policies and complete daily logs.
