Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a CNA/Direct Care Giver in Fredericksburg, Virginia. You will provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities, encouraging independence and participation in community activities.

The role requires current CNA licensure, effective communication, physical ability to lift and transfer residents, and a compassionate, team‑oriented approach. Training and schedule flexibility are offered to support staff development and work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license from the state where the community is located and in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work with all levels of personnel.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and safely transfer residents.
• Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and care concerns to the appropriate staff and document accordingly.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Support activity planning and resident move‑in transitions.
• Maintain confidentiality and report resident changes in logs.
