Job summary

Eventide Prairie Commons in Grand Island, NE, is hiring a Full-Time Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) for first shift (6a-2p) with every other weekend and holiday rotation. The CNA delivers personal care and supports residents' physical, mental and social needs under supervision, following care plans and HIPAA rules.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a NE CNA license, and preferably 6 months of caregiver experience.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in NE is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience as aide or caregiver preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring and continence.
• Provides care under supervision according to the care plan and facility procedures.
• Supports admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new employees as needed.
• Prioritizes assignments and adjusts during shift to meet changing needs.
• Follows HIPAA and protects residents' privacy at all times.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

6 months experience as aide or caregiver preferred
