Job summary

Emerald Nursing and Rehab Lakeview in Grand Island, NE is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. You will provide high-quality care supporting residents' comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, mobility, vital signs, documentation, and collaboration with the care team. CNA certification in NE required; prior experience in a similar setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move residents.
• Current CNA certification in NE required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.
• Report any changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.
• Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

Shifts Available: 6:00am-2pm, 6:00am-6pm, 2:00pm-10:00pm every other weekend
