Eventide Prairie Commons in Grand Island, NE is hiring a Part-Time Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) for 6a-2p shifts, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

The CNA will assist residents with daily living activities, follow care plans, and maintain HIPAA privacy. Active NE CNA license and 6 months of experience preferred; HS diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation for new staff.
• Prioritize tasks and adapt to changing shift needs and calls lights.

Description

Eventide Prairie Commons in Grand Island is currently hiring for a Part-Time Certified Nursing Aide (CNA). The scheduled hours for this position would be 6a-2p (8 Hours). This position also includes an every other weekend and holiday rotation.

The CNA assists in providing for the residents’ physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs in accordance with the established nursing care procedures under the supervision, guidance, and teaching of the supervisor in charge.

Ideal Candidate:

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
• Active CNA license in the state of NE required
• Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation and continence.
• Assists with Senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new employees.
• Follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
• Prioritizes assignments, making adjustments throughout shift to meet frequently changing/ overlapping Senior/client/caregiver/TEAMember/manager needs, call lights, when necessary.
• Performs work duties within the assigned work environment related to the position, as assigned by Eventide, regardless of TEAMember preference.
• Follows through on the comprehensive care plan/service plan as developed for each individual senior/client.
• Complies with HIPAA regulations regarding privacy by insuring that Protected Health Information (PHI) is safeguarded at all times.

Compensation:

At Eventide, we value our employees and offer a competitive starting pay range of $18.00-$20.16 per hour for CNA's based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available, for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
