Eventide Lincoln Care Center - Hospice is seeking a Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a Day shift 6a-6p. The role includes direct patient care with every third weekend/holiday rotation.

The CNA assists residents with daily living activities under supervision, following care plans and HIPAA privacy rules. NE license is required; HS diploma or equivalent and 6 months' caregiver experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Active Nebraska CNA license required.
• 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
• Assists with activities of daily living and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs under supervision.
• Provide activities of daily living support (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transfers).
• Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers and new-employee orientation.
• Follow care plans and document as required; protect PHI per HIPAA.

Description

Eventide Lincoln is currently hiring for a Part-Time Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) for a Day shift 6a-6p (12 Hours) This position has an every third weekend and holiday rotation.

The CNA assists in providing for the residents’ physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs in accordance with the established nursing care procedures under the supervision, guidance, and teaching of the supervisor in charge.

Ideal Candidate:

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
• Active CNA license in the state of NE required
• Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation and continence.
• Assists with Senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new employees.
• Follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
• Prioritizes assignments, making adjustments throughout shift to meet frequently changing/ overlapping Senior/client/caregiver/TEAMember/manager needs, call lights, when necessary.
• Performs work duties within the assigned work environment related to the position, as assigned by Eventide, regardless of TEAMember preference.
• Follows through on the comprehensive care plan/service plan as developed for each individual senior/client.
• Complies with HIPAA regulations regarding privacy by insuring that Protected Health Information (PHI) is safeguarded at all times.

Compensation:

At Eventide, we value our employees and offer a competitive starting pay range of $18.00-$20.16 per hour for CNA's based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available, for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
