Job summary

Emerald Healthcare in Grand Island, NE is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing facility team. In this role, you will provide compassionate resident care, assist with daily living activities, and support a safe, comfortable environment.

Qualifications

• Current NE CNA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Support mobility, transfers, positioning and ambulation safely.
• Take and record vital signs (BP, temp, pulse, resp).
• Document all care in the electronic health records system.
• Communicate changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Assist with feeding and providing companionship.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure quality care.

Shifts Available; 6:00am-2pm, 6:00am-6pm, 2:00pm-10:00pm every other weekend

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Resident Care: Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Mobility Assistance: Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.
• Vital Signs Monitoring: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Documentation: Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.
• Communication: Report any changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.
• Supportive Tasks: Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move residents, as well as perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
• Certifications: Current CNA certification in NE required.
