Job summary

Banner Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, WY is seeking a Certified Patient Care Assistant on our Medical Unit. You will join a tight-knit team, supporting fast-paced nursing staff and delivering routine patient care on a 64-bed unit.

Day shifts are 3 12-hour periods, 6:00am-6:30pm, with a $5,000 sign-on and a 12-month commitment. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, collecting data and vital signs, documenting in the EMR, and maintaining supplies.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provides routine patient care to promote comfort and supports the overall patient plan of care.
• Collects vital signs and other data; documents objective data in the medical records.
• Recognizes changes in patient status and communicates with licensed professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Assists with activities of daily living and basic hygiene for patients.
• Maintains supplies and supports unit operations and efficient workflow.
