Job summary

Banner Health's Wyoming Medical Center in Casper seeks a Certified Patient Care Assistant to support the Surgical Unit teams, provide ADL assistance, assist with pre- and post-operative care, and help ensure patient comfort.

This full-time day-shift role involves 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a 12-month commitment. Banner Health offers a supportive environment and opportunities to grow within a trusted health care system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current BLS certification.
• Active CNA in-state license required for new hires.
• Prior hospital or clinical setting experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Provides routine patient care to promote comfort and support the patient plan of care.
• Collects patient data including vital signs and input/output per policy.
• Recognizes changes in health status and reports to a licensed professional.
• Performs procedures and uses equipment under supervision (e.g., blood pressures, catheter care).
• Performs receptionist/clerical duties to support department operations and communication.
• Maintains patient records with admissions, transfers, discharges, progress notes, and forms.
• Manages supplies and equipment, audits inventory and requisitions.
• Assists with patient transport and OR room turnover as assigned.
• Works in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service.
