Job summary

Scenic Wellness Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. You will provide basic nursing care to residents on day shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) under licensed nurse supervision, helping with daily tasks and ensuring comfort.

We value dedicated caregivers and offer a supportive environment with care for residents and teamwork with the nursing staff.

Qualifications

• CNA license in Missouri is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff and healthcare professionals.
• Basic reading and writing skills.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and receive thorough nursing reports on duty.
• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, hygiene, and adaptive equipment.
• Explain procedures before care, ensuring resident comfort and understanding.
• Keep residents dry by changing gowns, clothing and linens as needed.
• Change bed linens and maintain a clean environment.
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds for a comfortable living space.

Job Description:

Scenic Wellness Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and caring Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will provide outstanding basic nursing care to our residents on our day shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) while working under the guidance of our licensed nurse supervisors.

• Assist residents with daily care, including bathing, grooming, hygiene, and placement of adaptive equipment
• Explain procedures to residents before administering care, ensuring their comfort and understanding
• Keep residents dry by changing gowns, clothing, and linens as needed
• Change bed linens and maintain a clean and tidy environment
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds to ensure a comfortable living space

Qualifications:

• CNA license in the state of Missouri
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
• Basic reading and writing skills
• CPR/BLS Certification
