Job summary

Scenic Wellness Nursing & Rehabilitation in Missouri is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our day shift team (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM). You will provide essential basic nursing care under the supervision of licensed nurses and help residents with daily activities.

The ideal candidate holds a Missouri CNA license, demonstrates clear communication with residents and staff, and can maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment while delivering attentive care.

Qualifications

• Missouri CNA license is required.
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Basic reading and writing skills are required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and receive thorough nursing reports upon reporting for duty.
• Assist residents with daily care, including bathing, grooming, hygiene, and placement of adaptive equipment.
• Explain procedures to residents before administering care, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
• Keep residents dry by changing gowns, clothing, and linens as needed.
• Change bed linens and maintain a clean and tidy environment.
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds to ensure a comfortable living space.
