Job summary

Scenic Wellness Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to care for residents on the day shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM). You will work under licensed nurse supervision providing basic nursing care and support to residents in a warm, team-oriented environment.

You will assist with bathing, grooming, hygiene, and daily activities, explain procedures to residents, maintain a clean and comfortable living space, and participate in thorough shift handoffs.

Qualifications

• Must hold Missouri CNA license.
• Excellent communication with residents, staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Basic reading and writing skills.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and receive thorough nursing reports upon reporting for duty.
• Assist residents with daily care, including bathing, grooming, hygiene, and placement of adaptive equipment.
• Explain procedures to residents before administering care, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
• Keep residents dry by changing gowns, clothing, and linens as needed.
• Change bed linens and maintain a clean and tidy environment.
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds to ensure a comfortable living space.
