Job summary

Scenic Wellness Nursing & Rehabilitation in Missouri is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our day shift team (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM). You will provide basic nursing care to our residents under the supervision of licensed nurses, assisting with daily activities and ensuring comfort and safety.

The role requires strong communication with residents and staff, adherence to CPR/BLS standards, and a patient-centered, respectful approach.

Qualifications

• CNA license in Missouri.
• Ability to communicate with residents, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Basic reading and writing skills.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and receive thorough nursing reports upon reporting for duty.
• Assist residents with daily care, including bathing, grooming, hygiene, and placement of adaptive equipment.
• Explain procedures to residents before administering care, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
• Keep residents dry by changing gowns, clothing, and linens as needed.
• Change bed linens and maintain a clean and tidy environment.

As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will provide outstanding basic nursing care to our residents on our day shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) while working under the guidance of our licensed nurse supervisors.
