Job summary

Capitol River Wellness & Rehabilitation in Jefferson City, Missouri, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join the night shift team. The CNA will provide hands-on resident care, assist with ADLs, monitor changes, and document care according to policies.

Requirements include a Missouri CNA license in good standing and current BLS/CPR certification. Excellent communication in English, reliability, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in accordance with each resident's care plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and the use of mobility or adaptive equipment.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to the licensed nurse.
• Maintain clean, dry, and comfortable environments by changing linens, clothing, and incontinent products as needed.
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds while ensuring resident comfort and skin integrity.
• Answer resident call lights promptly and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist residents with meals, hydration, and feeding when appropriate.
• Accurately document care provided according to facility policies.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Participate in shift reports and communicate effectively with nurses and other members of the healthcare team.
• Help create a positive, respectful, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and coworkers.

Capitol River Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate, dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our night shift team. If you're passionate about providing exceptional resident care and enjoy working in a supportive, team-oriented Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation environment, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Night Shift CNA, you'll play a vital role in helping our residents maintain their dignity, comfort, safety, and independence while working alongside an experienced nursing team dedicated to delivering outstanding care.

What You'll Do

Qualifications

Required

• Active Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License in good standing

Preferred

• Previous experience as a CNA in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation, Hospital, or Assisted Living community

• Experience providing direct resident care and assisting with activities of daily living
