Job summary

Heritage Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate CNAs for the Day Shift to join our nursing team. You will provide resident-centered care under the supervision of a licensed nurse and help residents maintain dignity, safety, and independence.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri CNA certification in good standing.
• Completion of a State-Approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered care in line with individualized care plans.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, repositioning, and mobility equipment usage.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to the licensed nurse.
• Respond to resident call lights promptly with compassionate assistance.
• Support meals, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Maintain clean, comfortable resident rooms and change bed linens as necessary.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or behavioral changes to the licensed nurse.
• Document resident care accurately and completely.
• Follow infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Promote resident dignity, respect, and quality of life at all times.

Position Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides compassionate, hands‑on care to residents while promoting dignity, independence, safety, and comfort. Working under the supervision of a licensed nurse, you'll assist residents with activities of daily living and play a vital role in helping them achieve the highest possible quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
• Successful completion of a State‑Approved Nurse Aide Training Program
• Current BLS/CPR Certification preferred
• Previous experience in skilled nursing, long‑term care, rehabilitation, hospital, assisted living, memory care, or healthcare is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing outstanding resident care
