Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a compassionate CNA Coordinator to lead CNAs in a Critical Access Hospital, partnering with nurses to deliver patient-centered care and maintain regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes supervision, team collaboration, and hands-on patient care, with five rotating 8-hour shifts. Benefits include medical/dental/vision and a company-supported 401(k). This is an hourly, non-exempt position supporting residents in a rural hospital setting.

Qualifications

• CNA Certification is required.
• Previous CNA experience preferred; Van Safety and Restorative Aide Training are a plus.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CNAs to ensure resident care is provided correctly and in compliance with regulations.
• Work with nurses to oversee clinical care through rounds and observation of resident rooms and common areas.
• Provide direct resident care with a focus on their comfort, safety, and well-being.
• Evaluate CNA performance and report observations to their supervisor.
• Function as a collaborative team member, assisting staff with tasks and maintaining strong relationships.
• Help orient new employees and support a positive staff dynamic.
