Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a CNA Coordinator to provide education, scheduling and guidance to certified nursing assistants in accordance with care plans and facility policies. The coordinator will support nursing staff, assist residents with daily living activities, and ensure compliance with safety and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
• At least one year of experience as a CNA in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, educates and audits CNAs to ensure tasks are completed and charting is up to date.
• Schedules CNAs according to planned patient care and budget.
• Provides supportive services to nursing staff as needed.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living per care plans and policies.
• Assists with lifting, turning, positioning, and moving residents as required.
• Coordinates dining room services, meal delivery and feeding assistance.
• Documents intake and tracks weight changes.
• Reports changes in resident condition to nurse and supervisor.
• Participates in care-plan meetings and quality improvement activities.
