Job summary

Carteret House is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care for residents, assist with ADLs, monitor health conditions, and support the nursing team in maintaining wellbeing. This role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and teamwork in a senior living setting.

The CNA will engage residents through meaningful activities, ensure safety, follow infection control procedures, and contribute to a warm, respectful community environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with eating, hydration, and nutritional needs.
• Help residents maintain personal hygiene and comfort.
• Measure and record vital signs and observe changes to report to the nursing team.
• Assist with medication reminders and basic healthcare tasks under supervision.
