The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and supporting the nursing team in maintaining residents' health and well‑being. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for caregiving.
Personal Care Assistance:
Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Support residents with eating, hydration, and nutritional needs.
Help residents maintain personal hygiene and overall comfort.
Health Monitoring:
Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
Observe and report changes in residents' physical or mental condition to the nursing team.
Assist with medication reminders and basic healthcare tasks under the supervision of licensed staff.
Resident Engagement:
Foster meaningful relationships with residents through companionship and supportive care.
Encourage participation in activities and programs to promote social interaction and mental well‑being.
Safety & Compliance:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Respond promptly to emergency situations and assist with emergency care when needed.
