Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct, hands-on daily care for residents, ensuring comfort and dignity. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor conditions, and support meals, housekeeping, and social engagement. Strong communication with families and staff is essential.

Required CNA certification, CPR/BLS preferred, and prior experience. The role emphasizes safety, compassion, and teamwork in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of an accredited CNA program required.
• One year of experience as a CNA preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with standard software and electronic health records systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs, grooming, hygiene, and nutrition.
• Respond to calls using intercoms promptly and courteously.
• Record temperatures and vital signs as directed.
• Help residents with mobility and transfers and assist with dining and activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and communicate changes to the care team.
