Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct, hands-on care to residents, supporting daily living activities and promoting comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Responsibilities include assisting with grooming, nutrition, mobility, and communication with residents, families, and staff. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and compassionate care to maintain independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of an accredited CNA program required.
• One year of experience as a certified nursing assistant preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, EHR systems, and HR-related systems as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs including grooming, hygiene, dressing, nutrition, and mobility.
• Respond to signals and determine residents’ needs using a proactive approach.
• Record vitals and intake/output as directed by the care team.
• Assist with meal service, housekeeping, and transportation as needed.
• Encourage resident participation in activities and document observations for the care team.
