Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide direct and compassionate personal care to residents across assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care in Cromwell, CT. You will support daily activities, meals, bathing and mobility under nurse supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Completion and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
• Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the nurse manager and may take direction from licensed nurses on duty or other supervisory staff.
• Provides direct care to residents on a daily basis.
• Assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Assists with personal care according to procedures and daily assignment, including bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting, grooming, feeding and mobility.
• Maintain resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner and assist with laundry.
• Notify supervisor of clothing needs as they occur.
• Prepare residents for meals, assist with serving meals and feeding.

Education

High School diploma or the equivalent
