Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to provide direct resident care in our assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care settings. You will report to the nurse manager and collaborate with licensed staff to support daily living activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent is required.
• Completion and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
• Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the nurse manager, may also take direction from licensed nurses on duty or other supervisory staff.
• Provides direct care to residents on a daily basis.
• Assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Assists residents with basic personal care according to procedures and daily assignment (e.g., bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting, grooming, feeding, transportation).
• Maintains resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner; changes linen, tidies spaces, and cleans bathrooms.
• Assists with resident laundry and notifies supervisor of clothing needs.
• Prepares residents for meals, assists with serving meals and feeding.
