Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services in Cromwell, CT is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide compassionate daily care across assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care settings. You will report to the nurse manager and support residents with personal care, daily activities and a clean, safe environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, completion of an approved CNA program and current state registry.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
• Listed on the State Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents daily.
• Assist with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Assist residents with basic personal care per procedures and daily assignment.
• Bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting, grooming, feeding, and transfers as needed.
• Maintain resident rooms clean and orderly; change linens and tidy spaces.
• Assist with resident laundry; notify supervisor of clothing needs.
• Prepare residents for meals and assist with serving/feeding.
• May be cross trained in Assisted Living.
