Job summary
Covenant Living is seeking qualified Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to support residents in assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care. You will report to the nurse manager, provide direct daily care, assist with activities, light housekeeping, laundry and dining services, and help residents with personal care per procedures.
This faith-based nonprofit aims to create joy and peace of mind for residents and families.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Completion and passing of an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
- Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.
Responsibilities
- Reports to the nurse manager; may take direction from licensed nurses on duty or supervisory staff.
- Provides direct care to residents daily.
- Assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
- Assists residents with basic personal care according to procedures and daily assignment.
- Includes bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting, grooming, feeding, transportation/transfer.
- Keeps resident rooms clean and orderly; notifies supervisor of needs and assists with meals.
