Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide daily direct care in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care settings. The role focuses on supporting residents with personal care, activities, meals, and mobility in a faith-based, team-oriented environment.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, completion of an approved CNA program, and be listed on the state's CNA registry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion and passing of an approved Nursing Assistant program in the state.
• Listed on the state's Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the nurse manager and may take direction from licensed nurses on duty or other supervisory staff.
• Provides direct care to residents on a daily basis.
• Assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Assists residents with basic personal care according to procedures and daily assignment (bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting, grooming, feeding, transfers).
• Maintains resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner; performs light housekeeping and linen changes.
• Assists with resident laundry and markers/ironing as needed.
• Notifies supervisor of clothing needs.
• Prepares residents for meals and assists with serving and feeding.
• May be cross trained in Assisted Living.

Education

High School diploma or the equivalent
