Job summary

River Pointe Assisted Living in Provo, UT is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under the direction of nursing staff and care plans. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, documenting care tasks, and supporting a safe, compassionate environment.

Must have CNA certification (in good standing preferred) and CPR/BLS; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification in good standing (preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current Food Handler Permit (when applicable).
• Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
• 1 year of experience in a SNF or ALF preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

• Provides CNA services to assigned patients under supervision and care plans.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living per care plans and policies.
• Assists with lifting, positioning, moving, and transferring residents.
• Coordinates dining room services—set-up, delivery, feeding, and documentation of meal intake.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and documents intake; tracks weight changes and reports to nurse.
• Maintains confidentiality and reports any policy breaches or safety concerns.
• Attends care-plan meetings and participates in quality and safety activities.
