Job summary

Maple Landing Assisted Living in Utah seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities, assist with mobility, meal service, and care plan adherence. This non-exempt, hourly role reports to the Resident Care Coordinator and emphasizes compassionate, team-based care.

Ideal candidates hold a valid CNA in good standing, CPR/BLS, and a high school diploma; prior SNF/ALF experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• CNA certification in good standing with the state (preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current Food Handler Permit (when applicable).
• Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
• Experience in SNF or ALF preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse, med tech and other staff as needed and performs duties as assigned.
• Assists resident with activities of daily living per care plans and policies.
• Assists with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents.
• Coordinates dining room services during meals and documents intake.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and monitors intake.
• Tracks patient weight and reports changes to nurse.
• Assists with skin condition monitoring and pressure area reporting.
• Supports nursing staff with toileting program activities.
• Completes flow sheets and communicates progress to supervisor.
