Job summary

Western States Lodging and Management in South Jordan, UT is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide hands-on, resident-centered care in a senior living community. You’ll assist with daily living activities, monitor well-being, and offer companionship to residents while upholding dignity and safety.

Successful candidates will hold an active CNA certification, CPR certification, and a compassionate, patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification as required by state regulations.
• Current CPR certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0–1 year of experience in senior living or caregiving is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting.
• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.
• Assist residents with ambulation, mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper body mechanics and safety techniques.
• Take and report vital signs and communicate changes in residents' condition to the nursing team.
• Assist with medications as permitted by training, certification, and state regulations.
• Provide companionship, conversation, socialization, and emotional support to residents.
• Help maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and care areas.
• Follow care plans, company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.
