Job summary

Legacy House of Spanish Fork is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide hands-on care, support, and companionship to residents in a safe, comfortable senior living environment.

You will assist with daily living activities, support independence, and communicate changes to the nursing team. A CNA certification and CPR are required, with prior senior living experience helpful but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or successful completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience in senior living is helpful but not required; candidates with 0–1 year are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting.
• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.
• Assist residents with ambulation, mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper body mechanics and safety techniques.
• Take and report vital signs and communicate changes in residents' condition to the nursing team.
• Assist with medications as permitted by training and state regulations.
• Provide companionship, conversation, socialization, and emotional support to residents.
• Help maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and care areas, including changing bed linens and light housekeeping.
• Follow care plans, company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.
