Job summary

Spring Hollow Assisted Living in Utah seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents according to care plans. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor condition, and work with nurses, med techs and other staff to provide quality care.

Requires CPR/BLS, a high school diploma, and a state CNA license; food handler permit may be required. Prior SNF/ALF experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state (preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Current Food Handler Permit (when applicable)
• Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a SNF or ALF is preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse, med tech and other staff as needed and performs duties as assigned.
• Assists resident with activities of daily living according to care plans and policies.
• Assists with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents.
• Coordinates dining room services at mealtimes, including setup, tray delivery, feeding assistance, and documenting intake.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and monitors intake.
• Documents weight and reports changes to nurse/supervisor.
• Maintains confidentiality of protected health information.
