Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services is seeking compassionate CNAs to provide daily supportive and functional care to residents in a collaborative team environment. You will assist with ADLs, meals, and daily activities, while maintaining dignity and encouraging independence.

You will report observations to licensed staff, participate in care plans, and help ensure a safe, respectful, and comforting environment for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required in MO or IL; PA shows enrollment eligibility within 120 days of training completion.
• Experience delivering direct patient care and comfort measures.
• Ability to communicate with residents and families; teamwork with nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Respond to call lights and resident requests; report observations to nurse.
• Assist with feeding and mealtime support as needed.
• Document care provided in clinical records.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment; follow safety protocols.
• Support resident involvement in daily activities and care planning.
• Assist with therapies and treatments under supervision of licensed staff.
• Encourage resident independence and dignity; respect privacy and preferences.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families.
