Job summary

Balboa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with residents' care plans and supervisor directions. You will identify residents, assist with daily living tasks, document accurately, and communicate changes to the Nurse Supervisor.

This role requires a state CNA license and prefers CPR certification. Responsibilities include maintaining resident comfort, preserving privacy, and supporting safe transfers and meal

Qualifications

• Must possess CNA license in accordance with state laws.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Report changes in residents' condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse as soon as practical.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts in an informative, descriptive manner.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information including protected health information.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and meals; greet and orient residents.
