Job summary

Balboa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an RNA/CNA to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans. You will identify residents, assist with daily living activities, record observations, and report changes to the Nurse Supervisor. The role requires maintaining confidentiality and following safety policies, with attention to infection control and resident comfort.

Applicants must be a licensed CNA per state laws. CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.
• CPR preferred
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and care plans.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments using wristband/photo card.
• Record entries on flow sheets in an informative manner.
• Report changes in residents' condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
• Follow established policies concerning exposure to blood/body fluids.
• Assist residents with daily living activities (dental/mouth care, bathing, dressing).
• Ensure resident rooms are ready and comfortable, greet and orient residents.
