Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to provide routine resident care under supervision, following established policies and procedures to ensure quality care.

You will perform rounds, verify resident identity, assist with daily living activities, and report changes to supervisors; must hold CNA license and have at least 6 months' experience or clinical CNA exposure; good English and teamwork required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CNA license.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical CNA training.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to relate with residents, families and staff.
• Good health and emotional stability.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per policies and safety rules and regulations.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours thereafter.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed areas.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean and within reach.
