Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under supervision. You will work with the nursing team to ensure high-quality resident care and safety on every shift.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CNA license.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience during certification.
• Desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with others.
• Must have patience, tact, and enthusiasm, and relate to residents of varying maturity levels.
• Must be in good health and emotionally stable.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to provide quality care.
• Verify resident ID before care or meals to ensure correct recipient.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions immediately.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean, filled, and reachable to residents.
• Follow directions from Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses or Administrator.
