Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a license as a certified nursing assistant.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience during its certification class.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, staff and the public.
• Must be in good health with emotional stability.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to administer care.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands promptly.
• Make beds and ensure clean, reachable water for residents.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by Charge Nurse/Administrator.
