Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents as outlined in their care plans. You will assist with meals, housekeeping, and resident needs while maintaining proper lifting techniques and documentation.

You will communicate urgent needs during shift changes, report changes in residents' conditions, and participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
• Current certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant from the state.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nurse Assistant having successfully completed a state approved training program and any necessary examination(s) in accordance with the laws of this State.
• Prefer prior experience in AL or SNU.
• Prefer prior experience as a certified nurse aide for at least 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan and supervisory directions.
• Complete the daily shift report and communicate urgent needs to the next shift.
• Assist with resident care including housekeeping, laundry, social needs, and proper lifting techniques.
• Assist with serving meals and essential clean-up.
• Record all entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative and descriptive manner.
• Report all changes in the resident's condition to the DON/Charge Nurse/HWD as soon as practical.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification
