Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care in a long-term care setting under supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, and meal support while adhering to care plans and facility policies. Documentation of intake and progress is required.

The role emphasizes dignity, respect for residents, and compliance with safety and confidentiality. Training and competency development are part of the position.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state (preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current Food Handler Permit.
• Must have no disciplinary action against certification.
• At least one year of experience as a CNA in long-term care (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living per care plans.
• Support nurse, med tech and staff; perform duties as assigned.
• Assist with lifting, turning, positioning, and transfers.
• Coordinate dining room services during meals and document intake.
• Weigh residents and report changes to nurse.
• Document progress and observations in care plans.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow infection control policies.
