Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate daily care to residents. You will assist with grooming, bathing, and toileting, while maintaining a clean, safe environment and documenting vitals and intake/output.

The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, adherence to care policies, and teamwork with the care staff to ensure high-quality service for residents.

Qualifications

• Holds a current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas.
• Able to accurately record information and perform technical procedures.
• Communicates well with patience and self-discipline.
• Cares for the elderly and individuals with disabilities.
• Follows safety policies and procedures.
• Upholds Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care: Assist with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing, following care policy guidelines.
• Maintain Resident Environment: Change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked.
• Support Mobility: Safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics.
• Record Vital Information: Accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption.
• Assist with Positioning: Turn and reposition residents routinely for comfort and safety.
• Encourage Engagement: Lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed.
