Qualifications

• Must hold Texas CNA certification.
• Able to record vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Cares for elderly and individuals with disabilities with patience.
• Understands Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
• Follows safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: grooming, bathing, pericare, and dressing per policy.
• Maintain resident environment: change linens, stock supplies.
• Support mobility: ambulate and transfer residents using proper body mechanics.
• Record vital information: vitals, weights, intake/output, meals.
• Assist with positioning: turn and reposition residents for comfort and safety.
• Encourage engagement: lead range of motion exercises as directed.
