Job summary

Gallatin Nursing & Rehab is seeking a licensed CNA to provide routine daily nursing care per the resident care plan in a compassionate, safe environment. You will identify residents before procedures, document accurately, and report any condition changes to the Nurse Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s plan.
• Identify residents using wristband/photo card before treatments and meals.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Record entries on flow sheets and charts in an informative manner.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident health information and report violations.
• Assist with daily resident activities and comfort, including mobility and positioning.
• Assist with preparing residents for medical tests and examinations.
• Follow established policies and procedures and cooperate with staff to ensure quality care.
