Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients including bathing, vital signs, glucose monitoring, walking, and responding to calls.
• Report abnormal vital signs and glucose readings to the overseeing nurse.
• Report patient changes to the nurse caring for the patient.
• Document accurately in the EMR when needed.
• Maintain a clean patient environment (rooms, drains, etc.).
• Protect medical records and HIPAA compliance.
• Complete incident reports for events and near misses as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
