Job summary

Qualifications

• Familiarity with basic hospital equipment and procedures.
• Able to accurately take and document vital signs.
• Knowledge of proper body mechanics and safe patient handling.

Responsibilities

• Under nurse supervision, assist patients with daily living activities.
• Provide safe patient environment and assist with hygiene, feeding, and positioning.
• Assist with safe transport and transfer of patients.
• Document patient care performed and report changes to staff.
• Gives shift reports and communicates needs promptly to the care team.
• Assist with supply inventory and unit cleanliness as directed.
• Perform QA checks and restock supplies as needed.
