Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills with residents, families and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Must be in good health with emotional stability.
• Ability to relate to residents with varying maturity levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and safety rules.
• Make rounds at shift start and every two hours to provide care.
• Verify resident ID before care or meals.
• Make beds and tidy rooms; serve water and assist meals.
• Assist with dressing, feeding and personal care.
• Prepare residents for therapy, activities and outings.
• Report abuse, medication issues, and hazards to the Charge Nurse.
• Attend in-service trainings and meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
