Patient First is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Maryland team. The role involves assisting with patient intake, vital signs, and basic clinical tasks under Physician and Nurse supervision.

Responsibilities include charting in the EMR, assisting with tests, phlebotomy, and maintaining a clean, well-organized treatment area. A CNA certification and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Formación

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to attend scheduled CPR classes and code drills.

Responsabilidades

• Locate patients, obtain vital signs, triage, assess medical condition, and prep for exams by Physicians and Nurses.
• Use electronic medical record system effectively.
• Order labs, x-ray, and medical supplies as directed.
• Notify Nurse/Physician when ready for exam and relay questions about labs or x-ray needs.
• Assist Nurses and Physicians with patient care and treatments.
• Handle Physician and Nurse requests promptly and respectfully.
• Perform lab duties and phlebotomy as assigned.
• Sterilize and set up instruments; restock treatment rooms as needed.
• Report to Charge Nurse before leaving; follow guidelines from Nurse Supervisor and Physician.
• Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas and follow OSHA guidelines.
