Job summary

Patient First in Clinton, MD is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our clinical team. In this full-time role, you will assist nurses and physicians, take vital signs, perform phlebotomy, and help prepare patients for exams and procedures.

The ideal candidate holds Maryland CNA certification, is at least 18, with 1 year of clinical experience preferred, and can lift up to 50 pounds. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maryland CNA certification.
• Minimum typing experience.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to attend CPR classes and code drills.

Responsibilities

• Locate patients and obtain vital signs.
• Assist Nurses and Physicians with patient care.
• Operate EMR system and document data.
• Perform phlebotomy duties as assigned.
• Sterilize and set up instruments.
• Restock treatment rooms and supplies.
• Report to Charge Nurse before leaving shift.
• Provide warm, friendly service and teamwork.
